Praying Scripture: Psalm 28:8-9
There are times when I’m watching the news and I start to feel overwhelmed by all the things going on around us. At those times, I’m reminded that the best thing I can do is pray. One of the ways I like to pray is by using Scripture to guide me.
Today’s prayer is based on Psalm 28:8-9. It’s such a comfort to know we can turn to God to give us strength and refuge, and that when we’re unable to carry on, He’ll carry us.
May you feel God’s presence, strength and love today!
Loved this Terri! The power of the prayer. You can’t imagine how many times I’ve prayed to God to help me get out of a jam or for signs on what course of action I should take. My whole family believes in this.
Thank you so much! I probably CAN imagine how many times you’ve prayed for help, because I know how many times I have…. I don’t know how I’d ever get through this life without prayer. I hope you and your family are doing well my friend. Blessings to you!
This is beautiful and uplifting! I’m rather new at turning to God for strength and refuge but I am finding it more and more helpful every day.
Thank you so much Kadie! I’m so glad you stopped by, and I’m really happy to hear you’re starting to turn to God for strength and refuge. I say all the time I don’t know how I’d ever get through all the hard stuff without being able to talk to God about it. Thanks so much for following the blog also – I look forward to getting to know you! Blessings to you!
