  1. What a gorgeous sunflower. I know that bees love sunflowers and the birds will love all the seeds it produces too. Sadly, because our summer has been cool and wet, the sunflowers here are not as good as the one in your photo.

Enjoy the beauty that sunflower brings with it.

    1. Thank you so much Hugh! This is my first time growing any sunflowers. You’re absolutely right about the bees and birds loving them. I had to snap this picture as soon as the bloom opened up – I have another pot with several blooms and the Goldfinches have been destroying the centers of them. Of course, I love that they see my flowers as their own personal buffet.😊 Thanks so much for stopping by. Blessings to you!

    1. Thanks so much Mark! I’ve enjoyed having the sunflowers this year. This is the first time I’ve ever grown any, and the seeds were a couple of years old, so I didn’t know if they’d even come up.
